Hello!

My name is Mark and I shall be moving to Chantilly from September to become an Au Pair with a French family. I wish to introduce myself and to see if anyone is living in the area or nearby. I am a very outgoing person who would love to meet new people and experience France.

I have just finished my Masters Degree and am moving to France to improve my language and integrate into a new life, hopefully experiencing new places and meeting some great people. If anyone is living nearby and has any advice for settling into the area or would like to meet when I arrive just send me an email!

Mark, you've picked a great area to live in! There is a great community of both expats and locals. You can take your pick between the English church (St. Peter’s) which has a thriving congregation, the cricket team (CCC) which practices every Friday night through till the end of September (often with a beer in the pub afterward), a dining society to meet new people and get out to a restaurant (H&A) and more. I am attempting to get five a side going for when the cricket finishes too if that is your thing.

It’s hard a first to meet people but I’m sure you’ll have no problem settling in after a while.
