It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it.

Hello,
I have recently sent a couple of clients and their cats to Mme Guillot in Gouvieux. Less expensive and more homely than a traditional cattery, both owners and pets were extremely happy.
Her contact details are on the business directory page under "kennels".
Good luck.
Susan

Hi there

I too am looking for someone to care for my cats. Could Mme Guillot be Mme Guillet? There is a kennel on the web called 'Guillet Marcel' in Gouvieux. The address is Route de Précy
60270 Gouvieux, France.

Cheers
Annie

Hi Annie,
Yes, you are quite right, I was thinking of Mme Gullet in Gouvieux. Her number is 03.44.57.01.12.
Regards,
Susan

No not a word, but she is very sweet on the phone and has recently helped some non French speaking clients with their cats. I have also booked a place for our puppy for a week in August, so will test it for myself. If you need help with making a booking, just say.
Regards,
susan

We just sent our cat on her hols to Mme Guillet for a few weeks. Mme Guillet is very sweet, but I have to say that I was a bit taken aback when I dropped Maggie the cat off. Up til now Maggie has 'holidayed' in catteries in the UK, which either have an outdoor bit or room to walk around. Mme Guillet has four cages for the cats (she mainly puts dogs up, has approx. 40) which were not that big and in a windowless garage. Having said that, it doesn't seem to have marked Maggie but I am wondering whether this is the norm or whether there may be other places around which give the cat a little more room and light? Any comments or advice very welcome!

Hi there,
I used to take my dog to the kennels in Gouvieux which worked well for us. The only problem I had was that my dog smelt when she came home and had to be washed immediately! I now take my dog to the kennels in La Croix Vert which are excellent and take cats too. Their website is www.geocities.com/etsdaniel/. Details can also be found in the business directory. They will do a toiletage/bath, when asked, for a fee. All vaccines have to be up to date and the lady will need to see you in the office for the first booking. She takes a deposit when you book. Clean and professional!

They look great, will try them out next. They even have an activity room for the cats (the only cattery in Ile de France to do so, apparently...). Maggie is far too contrary to take part, but it's good to know!
