The English Language Montessori School

It is with great regret that we announce the closure of the English Language Montessori School (ELMS). Judith has worked very hard over the last 11 years to build up the school and she has achieved much of which she can be very proud. From personal experience I know that those children who passed through her school were able to learn a lot more than just maths and language. They were able to learn discipline and manners and above all respect, all of which came from Judith. That the school should be forced to close just when it seemed Judith had the premises and the staff to really grow is doubly sad.

As of the 2nd October the English Language Montessori School is closed permenantly.

Very Important Development!

I received an email with some very important news - which I knew just had to be shared!

Lidl, the discount supermarket will, from Wednesday 24th September 2008, for one week be selling English Mustard, Mint Sauce and even Piccalilli! The cost of these rarely available delicacies will be only 0.89€ per pot (1.19€ for the piccalilli). Hurry though - with the number of expats in the region they are sure to sell out fast... and if you see someone there filling in their basket, ask them if they read about it on ChantillyExpat.com!

Dear All,
I am delighted to announce that we have found 3 Leaders who have agreed to take on the running of the Cubs this year. We would like to present them to you (and your children who would like to be Cubs) next week on Saturday 20th September. We will hold a meeting at the Church Centre from 14.30 to 16.30. At this first meeting, I would like to give information to parents for the first 15 minutes of the meeting. We will then hold a regular Cub meeting. If this will be the first time that your children attend, then this is an opportunity to test out whether they would like to become a Cub.

Computer Problems?

If you're having problems with your computer - whether it is not working as it should or you've a problem with pop-ups or you'd like to get some new piece of kit working - maybe I can help. I don't profess to be an expert and I don't do it for a living but as people who know me will tell you I do spend way too much time playing with computers!

I can help with both UK/US setups and french setups. I have dabbled in networking and have had some success in getting wireless connections to work.

So if you need some advice, or would like someone to help, at your home, just give me a call on 03.44.21.00.68 or send me a message by clicking on the 'webmaster' link below and sending me a private message or en email. I don't make any charge, so can't give any guarantees, but I do like to help (and I do like wine, dinner vouchers, charitable donations, whatever!)
