You will find details of the history behind St Peter’s and the reason for this ride in this document. Don’t worry, we are not looking for additional riders...St Peter’s Church is very much the centre of the English-speaking community in Chantilly, and whether you are a practising Church member or not, you all have contacts with the Church. The church is undergoing a major restoration project, and this requires funding. We have been working on attracting corporate sponsors (of whom we have several), but we need to raise money to cover costs (the riders are all contributing to the ride) and to make a profit for the Church. While we already have a profit, we need to make this a big success. We have the patronage of Eric Woerth, the French Finance Minister, and the Ambassador of Great Britain, to name but two.
