Bike Ride for the Restoration of St Peter's

A group of 10 riders plus a support team are undertaking a bike ride from Twickenham to Chantilly to raise money for the restoration of St Peter’s. You will find details of the history behind St Peter’s and the reason for this ride in this document. Don’t worry, we are not looking for additional riders...St Peter’s Church is very much the centre of the English-speaking community in Chantilly, and whether you are a practising Church member or not, you all have contacts with the Church. The church is undergoing a major restoration project, and this requires funding. We have been working on attracting corporate sponsors (of whom we have several), but we need to raise money to cover costs (the riders are all contributing to the ride) and to make a profit for the Church. While we already have a profit, we need to make this a big success. We have the patronage of Eric Woerth, the French Finance Minister, and the Ambassador of Great Britain, to name but two. Several members of the Scouting community are taking part along with key members of the St Peter’s community. On behalf of this team, I would ask you to consider how you can support us in the following ways:

Do you speak english ?
